GoArticles Australia Author Guidelines

GoArticles Australia offers authors the chance to promote themselves, their products and services with quality, topical articles.

These guidelines are to ensure our searchable article library contains well written and informative information. Writing with the guidelines gives your article the best chance of fast approval and publication.

Please read these Author Guidelines thoroughly before making your free membership application.

General

1. All articles submitted must be written personally by you. Copying the work of others or submitting duplicate content will result in account closure.
2. Articles should serve to educate and inform drawing on your unique skill-set and experience.
3. Public relations, advertising and other promotional material will not be accepted or published.
4. All articles submitted should demonstrate appropriate use of structure, language, grammar and punctuation.
5. Articles inciting hatred, terrorism or discrimination or with pornographic content will not be published and accounts will be immediately terminated.
6. Articles should not contain information, instruction or promote in any way illegal activities, legal or illicit drugs, banned weapons and religious fanaticism. Such accounts will be terminated without notice.
7. Article Submission does not mean your article will automatically be published. GoArticles Australia can take up to 30 days to review your article. You will be advised if your article submission is successful or not.
8. Do not submit multiple copies of the same article with different titles and/or slight modification. Doing so will result in account closure.
9. No direct links to any type of digital download are allowed.

Article Structure

1. Title
   • Write your title using upper case for the first letter of each major word and without punctuation.
   • Do not include your name, product or website address in the article title.
   • For best results, write a keyword led title.
2. Name
   • Use your full author name against every article you submit.
   • Your author name must have a first and last name.
   • Initials, email and URL do not meet the name criteria.
3. Body Text
   • Should be at least 250 words and no more than 3,000 words. 500-700 is an ideal article word count.
   • There is no need to repeat your title or author name within the article body.
   • Copyright and/or Reprint Rights should appear at the end of your article.
   • Your article should be informative and enjoyable to read. Do not include promotional copy.
   • The body of your article must relate to its title.
   • Permitted html tags are provided in the article content editor. These should be used appropriately to define text areas such as headings, bullets etc.
4. Links
   Each article may include a maximum of four (4) links:
   • 2 links to a site you own or control.
   • 2 links to a relevant resource.
5. Keywords
   Building keywords into your article will help to attract more traffic.
   • Use only keywords that relate to your article content.
   • For best results, use 4-5 keywords, and a maximum of 10.
   • Do not exceed a keyword saturation level of 8%
