Queenslanders are becoming the most stressed, strained, and worried individuals in Australia. Research and reports have been written by major newspapers and the largest of research firms, on which they all agree - Queenslanders nerves are reaching an end.

The Brisbane Times has reported that one third of working Queenslanders are stressed by long hours, bullying, or abuse.

Queensland Council of Unions (QCU) secretary Roy Monaghan has said "More than a third of callers to our workers' compensation hotline report stress at work from abuse and bullying to overwork and relentless shift work."

The courier mail has also reported that Brisbane traffic has been recorded as the most stressful in Australia according to an IBM survey of 1556 drivers.

So it is needless to say Queenslanders deserve a break. Luckily, as well as being the most stressed in the country, we are also the most equipped for a holiday. Queensland boasts beautiful beaches, rolling country side, and luscious green hinterland to explore.

Unfortunately preparing for a holiday can become stressful in itself, with the planning and arrangements, taking time off work, coordinating with school holidays and finding minders for pets all needing to be addressed. Not to mention the costs - eating out every night, paying for accommodation, finding a kennel, flights and travel expenses. It all adds up.

One answer that solves many of these issues is owning your own holiday home.  Usually this is quite expensive; however there is an alternative to your usual brick and mortar holiday house – transportable buildings!

Purchasing a transportable building as a holiday home will cost on average a third of the price of a regular house and you are still eligible to take advantage of the government's $10 000 building boost grant!

Owning your holiday home will allow you to get away without having to spend hours organising accommodation, baby sitters, and pet minders. You are also able to get away for weekends at the drop of a hat – if Friday was particularly stressful at the office, pack your things and head out to your very own holiday house for the weekend, no stress and minimal organisation required.

Panelfab, a Queensland based portable building manufacturer offer portable buildings for both sale and hire. You can design your own transportable home and have it delivered and installed within weeks not months or years.

You are even able to rent your holiday home while you are not using it, boosting your household income and assisting with bill payments.

So why not take advantage of the government's building boost, Queensland's beautiful backyard, and reduce your stress today?
