Equine Miracle Sponsors Bridi Rice Inside

When I was an up and coming young event rider, a sponsor made the world of difference to my life and opportuni-ties. Now I'm the one in a position to give a young rider a hand up, it feels good to be able to help someone, and it's a chance to really show what an equine miracle can do.with horses that are competing in one of the toughest sports there is...Endurance Riding!

There was no thinking about it, Bridi Rice was my first choice of someone to sponsor. From our initial meeting Bridi impressed me with her attitude to her feisty, hot blooded little arabian cross mare, Pocket Full of Posies (Rosie).

Bridi understood that a lot of her mare's behavior was based on fear and that her need to move was real, she was not being willfully naughty. Although relatively new to competitive riding, Bridi was frustrated with an unevenness in Rosie's action and being told there was nothing wrong with her horse. Re-fusing to give up she contacted me, but only after doing her research.

That's another thing that attracted me to Bridi, she does her research. She happily seeks advice from more ex-perienced and successful competitors and uses the internet, clinics and les-sons to increase her knowledge and make informed decisions which are also based on the results she sees with her horses.

Bridi's careful planning and training, and her ability to adjust to her horses' needs saw her complete the 2010 Shazada, covering 400km in 5 days on her leased pony, Blake's Heaven Veuve. When I saw Veuve in the week following the Shazada I expected to find a tired pony with a sore back, what I found was a happy pony with very few issues. A credit to her rider!

Sponsorhip will provide Bridi's horses with treatments at 4 weekly in-tervals (ideal for horses being condi-tioned for Endurance )treatment pre and post rides and, where possible, treatment at rest stops during major rides.
